Oeksound Spiff is an adaptive transient processor plug-in that enables us to either boost or cut transients, big deal, there are plenty of plug-ins out there that do this type of thing so what makes Spiff different? In a nutshell, Spiff analyses incoming audio and only applies transient boost or cut processing to parts of the signal that has transient information in it. Now there are lots of transient processor plug-ins out there, they’re either extremely simple to use or confusing… I feel that Spiff sits mid-table, it can be as easy or as complicated as you want it to be. Personally, I do like a good transient processor, they’re great for adding impact and interest or smoothness to instruments in a mix and Spiff does a great job, definitely worth you guys trying it out. It is only limited really by your imagination and I think it's a fair price as well.
