The Symphony of the Seas' deck 5 is home to the Royal Promenade. This massive area that encompasses the majority of the deck was introduced with the Voyager of the Seas in 1999 and expanded to unseen dimensions with the Oasis of the Seas. On the Symphony of the Seas it remains relatively the same, though some of venues have changed in appearance and function. The classic Starbucks Coffee shop has made a return to the Royal Promenade on Symphony after having been moved to the Boardwalk on Harmony.. The Champagne Bar has also been removed and in it's place a Quantum Class venue, the Bionic Bar by Makr Shakr has been brought to the Oasis class with it's pair of iconic robotic bartenders. The Royal Promenade since it's first introduction has always been the heart of every ship that features it. With the Symphony of the Seas it features the entertainment venues of Boleros, On Air Club, the Copper & Kettle Pub, and the signature Schooner Bar.
