Taking the OM-1 w 150-400, and the rest Canon R5 kit. (70-200 f/2.8, 24-70 f/2.8 and a 16mm STM) Leaving the RF 100-500 at home since I am taking the Oly big white. I was thinking about taking a full Oly kit and leaving the Canon stuff at home, but i would need another body. (I always take two bodies). I could get another OM-1, but I'm wondering if a OM-5 would do as well. I've never handled or shot an OM-5. Thoughts? 06:52 @tkarlmann Rob: I think one of my OM-D E-M1's sort-died. Even after a reset, the shutter will not go below 1/8 second! I tried everything I know of, and that shutter still bottoms out at 1/8s. My camera has never been dropped, in water, or abused in any way. When I contacted OM Systems, on another matter, they mentioned, or I inquired, about the lack of apparent support, of any kind, for the original OM-D E-M1; and they confirmed this. Do you know of anywhere this camera can be repaired? Is it just a loss? I've seen used Mark 1's going inexpensively on eBay. What do you think I should do? Gosh, if I could get another OM-1 right now, I would. I do Weddings -- and was thinking of my Mark 1's as backups. Your thoughts?
