👍Full show with best view 4K video 🎥 Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration 🎆 This was Universal’s answer to the nighttime entertainment at other Florida theme parks 🎢 It ran from 2018 to 2024 and replaced the previous Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular: 100 Years of Movie Memories lagoon show 🌌 The Cinematic Celebration nighttime show was meant as a grand farewell to your day at the parks 🌟, combining elements from most of their attractions as a look back to relive everything you’ve experienced during your visit 🎡 The show featured scenes from Harry Potter 🧙‍♂️, E.T. 🚲, Jurassic World 🦖, Despicable Me 😈, Fast & Furious 🚗, Trolls 🌈, Transformers 🤖, and Minions 🍌 The Harry Potter sequence started with spells being cast all around you, making you feel like you were in the middle of a wizard duel ⚔️ The show ends in one big party 🥳, with many guests dancing and in a party mood all around 🕺💃 At the time, Cinematic Celebration was the most elaborate nighttime show ever presented at Universal Studios Florida 🌃 It featured 40-foot-wide panoramic water curtains acting as movie screens 📺, lights 💡, lasers 🔫, projection mapping on surrounding buildings 🏰, 120 colorful water fountains dancing around 💦, a massive thundering sound system 📢, pyrotechnics 💥, and fireworks 🎇 that lit up the sky. The show took place on The Lagoon in the heart of the park, offering guests a truly immersive entertainment experience and numerous photo opportunities 📸, especially during sunset when the water reflects the beautiful colors of the sky 🌅 In 2024, the Cinematic Celebration was replaced by Universal Studios Florida CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular Lagoon show 🌠, utilizing almost twice the number of fountains and 600 drones to create images in the sky 🛸 This technology has been used before by both Disney and Universal but sparingly until the recent Disney Springs drone show, Disney Dreams That Soar, which features an impressive 800 drones 🚁 CineSational, in addition to Cinematic Celebration, also features scenes from classics like Jaws 🦈, Ghostbusters 👻, Back to the Future ⏰, Super Mario Bros. 🍄, King Kong 🦍, and the classic Universal Monsters 🧟‍♂️ Now don’t get us wrong, we really enjoyed Cinematic Celebration and it’s hands down one of the best theme park nighttime shows in the world 🌍, but what we really missed were some of the classic Universal movies 🎬 Some scenes were just too long for those franchises, like Jurassic World, Transformers and Fast & Furious We would have preferred compilation scenes featuring many memorable movies instead 🎞️ Luckily, there was E.T., but that was basically it.
