The year is 1995 and Raekwon is gearing up to drop his debut studio album. Upon dropping an album he would be the third member of the wu-tang clan to drop a solo album after the group’s debut album. Method Man had the first solo album out of the group with him dropping “TICAL” in November of 1994. ODB would be the second one with him dropping “Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version” in March of 1995. This left some pressure for Raekwon to be the third one to release an album, especially with the standards of being a wu-tang clan member being so high and how monstrous the group’s debut album ended up being.
