Dr. Luis Andres Dibos is a bilingual cardiovascular surgeon in the nationally recognized cardiac program at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He has been on the open heart surgical team since 1996 and specializes in beating heart bypass surgery, or off-pump procedures, where the heart continues to beat during surgery. No heart-lung machine is used, which means reduced risk of complication and better cognitive function post-surgery.
