In Episode 2 of Roam and Relic we continue our road trip and head out of Yosemite National Park in route for Fresno! There I got the chance to chat with legendary bootmaker, John Lofgren. We discuss engineer boots, Japanese military boots, and how he got his start as a designer. In Fresno I also got to have a tour of the Underground Gardens which were AMAZING. I couldn't believe how massive this network of underground rooms and tunnels were all so one Italian immigrant could grow citrus trees.
