BEST Way To Propagate Anubias Plants For Fast Growth!! (Experiment)

In this video we test multiple anubias propagation methods to determine which method grows anubias plants the best. The experiment is set up to explore the effects of two different anubias propagation variables. First, we are looking at what the optimal size is to cut the anubias rhizome. We divided all the anubias plants into two categories, with small rhizomes pieces being cut to 10 - 20 mm in length and the large rhizome cuttings being 30 - 40 mm in length. The second variable we are testing out is whether it is better or worse to cut off all the old anubias leaves so for that we have a group of plants with the leaves left on and another one with the leaves cut off. Essentially, this experiment is a 2 x 2 factorial design which has four different treatment groups. 1. Small rhizome with no leaves, 2. Small rhizome with leaves on, 3. Large rhizome with no leaves and 4. Large rhizome with leaves on. We will grow out these anubias cuttings and periodically harvest the plants to monitor their growth over the course of the experiment.
