🇦🇪48th UAE National Day Celebration 🇦🇪

The 48th UAE National Day was celebrated by all Woodlemites on Tuesday 26th November 2019 with pomp and pageantry. The day's programme started with a colourful and rousing Walkathon within and outside the campus under the leading support of an amiable police team from the Ajman Police Department. The upbeat event which comprised of all grades as well as the school faculty and support staff was not only an opportunity to show our commitment to our host nation but was equally an auspicious occasion to keep aligned to the leadership objectives of the UAE such as tolerance, unity in diversity and culture, health aims etc. After the brisk, rejuvenating walk around the school's environ, the celebration continued on campus with the hoisting of the flag at 11.00am followed by the National Anthem and various displays of cultural dances. The festivity ended on a lovely note as many who were in attendance indulged in the mouth -watering, freshly-made Emirati dumplings whose sweet aroma kept wafting into the air and teasing the nostrils of all and sundry.
