This video tells the story of how Israeli special forces (Sayeret Matkal) stormed Uganda in the most daring hostage rescue mission at Entebbe Airport in 1976. On July 4, 1976, Israeli commandoes launched an audacious counter-terrorism attack on Entebbe Airport in Uganda, rescuing hostages that were hijacked by terrorists from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The terror group had hijacked 248 passengers onboard an Air France flight 139 that took off from Tel Aviv and forced it to land in Uganda. The Entebbe raid, codenamed Operation Thunderbolt (but later retroactively renamed Operation Yonathan) is one of the most daring rescue operations in world history. In this edition of Hisple Media, we explain how Israel raided Idi Amin’s Uganda in one of the greatest rescue missions in history in 1976. ---------------------------------------------------- Subscribe to Hisple Media here: / hisplemedia ---------------------------------------------------- OUR INTERESTING PLAYLISTS: Military Coups in Nigeria: • Military Coups in Nigeria Lost History of Nigeria: • Lost History of Nigeria Nigerian Civil War (Biafran War): • Nigerian Civil War (Biafra War) Slavery in Africa and the Americas: • Slavery in Africa & the Americas ---------------------------------------------------------- Follow us Social Media: Twitter: / hisplem Facebook: / hisplemedia Instagram: Tiktok: @Hisplemedia Timestamp: 00:00 background story 00:47 Plane hijacked by terrorists 03:26 hijackers made demands 04:46 Israel made contact seeking help 05:40 IDF submit a rescue plan 07:57 Operation thunderbolt (Op.
