DHAKA SESSIONS is delighted to present one of the top favorite Bangla rock bands currently in the scene - Bangla Five. Formed in 2017, after the release of their debut album 'Confusion' in 2019, Bangla Five have become a sensation within the youth. It is no surprise that they were chosen as favorites in several media and social media platforms, including the Bangladesh Band Music Fans Community #BBMFC. Their recent live concert at the Dhaka University in front of 20k+ audiences singing along to their songs is a testament to their popularity. Previously they had played concerts all over Bangladesh, as well as in Nepal and India. With Sina on vocals, Rafin on bass, Rushdi on cajon instead of drums, and the ever versatile Anik on guitar, the band prepared and performed acoustic versions of their songs exclusively for Dhaka Sessions... and they are brilliant! Sina's insightful lyrics reflect the voice of the youth - speaking out against social injustice, and the dilemma, disillusions, and contradictions of society. The band is currently working on their next album.
