I would only recommend using a Webasto, Espar or other reputable diesel heater. The chinese diesel heaters are not made to the same standards, and are frankly dangerous. This Webasto gasoline heater install was done under the driver seat because the passenger seat wasn't an option. One of the best parts of buying a Webasto Air Top 2000 is that you can find them in a gasoline or petrol version. This allows you to tap directly into the van fuel tank using the Ford factory aux fuel port. While this may be intimidating, running a separate or remote fuel tank for the heater is both dangerous and unrealistic. Installing the aux fuel pickup does require dropping the tank in a Ford Tansit, but the tank is plastic, and very light if run to empty.
