2025 Together We Thrive Summit & Festival — Action Arena Programming Powered by the Justice, Care and Opportunities Department (JCOD) In the Action Arena, practitioners, visionaries and leaders in the justice space come together to share their bold ideas for the future and how we can take action with a hands-on approach for creating change. The Together We Thrive Summit and Festival brings community members, service providers and justice-impacted individuals together for a full day of connection, learning and resources. Attendees participated in free wellness activities, hands-on workshops and a wide range of panel discussions designed to advance equity and expand opportunity across Los Angeles County. Free laptops, haircuts and groceries were available throughout the day, along with a toy drive supporting families during the holidays. California at the Crossroads: The Fight for Housing Justice This session examines the urgent housing crisis facing California and the bold advocacy efforts working to ensure housing is treated as a human right. Policy leaders, organizers, and grassroots advocates discuss the systemic barriers to affordable housing, the rise of displacement, and community-driven solutions aimed at equity and justice.
