Here’s a step-by-step guide which I made of how to remove the rubber straps and metal buckles of a 14-year-old made-in-USA Scubapro Jetfins, and replace them with spring straps. The fact that some “destruction” of the original attachments is required is evidence that the Jetfin was made to withstand abuse and be durable. (Tip: If you can’t dislodge the pin from the buckle, continue to file down more of the top and try again. Take it slow and don’t damage your fin!)
