Here's my second of two lifts that I fimed in Nijmegen (august 12, 2016). Opposite of Nijmegen's main railway station lies the Metterswane officebuilding, built in around 1976. It's retired and is going to be re-developed some time in the near future. Out of the 3 lifts, only one is working, probably to safe maintaince and energy costs as the rent prices in this building appear to be low. The lifts are original, no vf-mod, original fixtures and probably original logic. The working lift is full of character, with classic aucaustic chimes. It's needs a bit of TLC though, as the car operarion panel is a bit roughed up. I bet they keep it running using spare parts from the other two lifts. What supprised me is that they are still maintained by Shindler, I wouldn't have expected that, usually these old lifts get butchered by generic maintaince companies who replace the fixtures and remove any character from it.
