Refresh Your Fleet with Glass Shield — Single or Multi-Layer Protection

Graffiti Shield is proud to continue our ongoing partnership with Complete Coachworks, a leader in mid-life bus refurbishment and fleet modernization. Several times each year, our team works alongside Coachworks as buses move through their refresh process — helping ensure newly upgraded interiors are protected before returning to service. Protecting glass and plastic surfaces at mid-life significantly reduces future maintenance costs and extends the lifespan of critical interior components. For this installation, we applied two specialized 6-mil protection systems engineered for different substrates within the bus interior. Glass Shield 6-Mil Clear was installed on interior bus windows, providing a clear, undetectable sacrificial barrier against scratching, carving, etching, and acid damage. When vandalized, the film can be removed and replaced — restoring the glass to a like-new appearance without costly glass replacement. Glass Shield 6-Mil Poly was installed on interior poly windscreens and plastic panels. Specifically designed for polycarbonate and plexiglass surfaces, this film features a specialized adhesive system that allows plastics to breathe and prevents outgassing, while delivering the same durability and clean removability as our standard Glass Shield system. In this video, our field technician Claudia demonstrates the efficiency, precision, and attention to detail that define every Graffiti Shield installation. Working seamlessly within Coachworks’ production environment, our team helps keep refurbishment timelines on schedule while ensuring long-term surface protection. For higher-vandalism environments, Glass Shield is also available in a multi-layer configuration, allowing stacked sacrificial layers for extended service life and simplified maintenance cycles.
