Two types of Euthanasia Passive Euthanasia is when a physician stops providing the medical treatment needed for the patient to stay alive. Such as pulling the plug on a patient and the stopping of medications. Active Euthanasia is when a physician gives the patient the medication needed to end one’s life. Such as an injection of medication. Euthanasia is portrayed as a “merciful killing”, when really it is just a regular killing. The only difference is that the doctors can get away with killing his/her patient under a certain criteria. This will lead to the unnecessary killing of many people. Euthanasia should NOT be legalized. The foundations of euthanasia tell that it shouldn't have become a medical option in the first place. It give doctors and ill patients an excuse to end their own life or the life of an other. Doctors become doctors so that they can help a person LIVE. It's hard to believe that some would like to practice euthanasia. Just because it is considered a “merciful death” doesn't mean it actually is. This makes doctors who want to participate in this type of medical practice, want to become criminals. Euthanasia over a period of time will become the government's worst nightmare. People will begin to use the injected substance that doctors use to their own personal benefits. Because the crime rates to increase. euthanasia will become the new “drug” everyone is dying to try. Supporters will slowly fade away when the crime rate increase. They will start to understand why Euthanasia should NOT be legal, in the United States as well as other countries. What will you choose? Life or Death? Euthanasia. Killing or Caring?
