ADA 45P (45cm aquarium) start to finish nano aquascape by Charlotte young AKA POB @plenty_of_bettas Member of the Horizon team charlotte aka Pob created her first aquascape in the Horizon Gallery. she did a brilliant job with this ADA 45P full ADA system. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ step by step process of this build: 1. hardscape: Pob wanted to get really creative with the twists and turns in such a small space but she knew the only real way to achieve this is to create hardscape out of the aquarium with glue and to place in as one piece. unfortunatley we did not get video footage of this process 2. substate & soil: Pob went with the most popular method we like to get our customers on using a lava base what helps with water movement and adding ADA soil on top. ADA soils are the very best in holding nutrients and can buffer for long periods of time. 3. preparing for planting Preparing plants can be a time consuming task but proper prep comes with ease of planting. wet soil ? people have different views on what is better to plant we find wetting soil before planting helps with the process as the plants tend to stick inside the soil. 4. planting planting is a long process but in the right mind set can be a wonderful thing as loosing time and enjoying the satisfaction of planting your creation. 5. maintenance like all new Aquascapes we perform the same routine. we water change 50% everyday for the first 2 weeks we review the aquarium with testing and checking plant conditions. if all is well we add CUC clean up crew this is to help in the combat of diatoms and other pest algae. we will be performing 50% water changes weekly from then on. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ plant list below: Foreground: Elatine hydropiper mid ground: ludwigia mini super red blyxa japonica gratiola viscuda rotala bonsai back ground: ludwigia mini super red rotala nanjenshan gratiola viscuda rotala bonsai epiphyte (on wood & rock) Bucephalandra needle leaf Bucephalandra serimbu brown ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ EQUIPMENT Aquarium: ADA 45P 45cm Cabinet: 45 ADA Cube Cabinet Clear & Base wood Base (Glass Cabinet) Lighting: Twinstar E line V3 Filter: ADA Superjet ES 150 Hardscape: Manzanita wood & Black Lava stone Substrate: Lava Soil & ADA Amazonia Ver2 Soil Tools: ADA Sand flatner & ADA Pro pinset M Glassware: ADA Mini P-1 & ADA Mini V-2 Co2: Ista co2 bottle - Strideways regulator Fertiliser: ADA Fertiliser ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All products and live plants are available on our website: --------------------------- www.horizonaquatics.co.uk ---------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ CHAPTERS Intro 00:00 Hardscape 00:30 Planting 06:18 Ending 19:21 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- music from epidemicsounds.com #aquascape #aquascaping #natureaquarium #aquarium #plantedaquarium #plantedaquariums #fishtank #fish #tropicalfish #shrimp #bucephalandraplant #aquariumhobby #cinematic #relaxing #chillvibes #fishtank
