This video is from the haunted Torås fortress, in Tjøme, Norway. It's history dates back to the viking age. It was occupied by the germans during WW2 and was used as the base for the secret CIA operation "Stay Behind" after the cold war. The fortress is located in the middle of Tjøme, south of Havna. This location is an exciting area with many military installations and a mesmerizing view over looking the sea coast, Tjøme and the surrounding areas. It is not just the history of the place that makes it interesting to those of you who share our interest in "ghosts" and the paranormal field. But it also has come to our attention that the fortress hosts a ghost walk for children and youth every Halloween, these arrangements are not hosted without reason. It's partly being arranged due to the significant amount of spiritual activity going on in the fortess. The history: Torås fortess was established by the Armed Forces in 1939, as a part of the development of the Outer Oslofjord fortresses. The fortress was part of a comprehensive military support point system in Vestfold, Norway and served as one of several flank fortesses on each side of the Oslo Fjord. In 1940 Torås Fortress was invaded by German forces. It did not take long for Torås Fortess to be further developed by the German occupying arms during World War II. Torås fortess was completed in November 1941. On December 13, 1942, over 700 armored mines exploaded at once, and the explosion could be heard all the way down to the fortresses in the southern part of the county. The soldiers were put on high alert, as it was believed that the blast was cannon fire from battleships out in the fjord. After the war, the fortress was ran and operated by the Coastal Artillery, which primarily used it for education and training. In 1999, the fortess was closed down and secured. One of the cannons from the fortress has been dismantled and is today displayed at the Oscarsborg fortress. The remaining three cannons are still located at Torås fortress. Today, the public has the opportunity to visit this exciting area and to stop by to visit the Torås museum, which also offers a historical hike, which includes the area's history from the Viking Age until the fortress was closed down in 1999. We're visiting Torås: When the head of the interest group for Torås Fortress (John Toresen) contacted us, he made us an unusual request. Torås has their own ghost, a German soldier, who has been nicknamed "Fritz", but what is his real name? This, and more, is what we hope to find out, during our visit, on February 22nd. According to a medium which recently visited the location, there is far more Energy here than this one soldier. This is an area rich in Norwegian war and viking history. Visitors have reported strange experiences here, and John has no doubts that there is something credible to these reports. Although, John started at Torås fortess in 2015, as a skeptic, he revealed to us that he was no longer in doubt about the paranormal phenomena that's happening at the fortess. We encourage our followers to follow Torås fortress on their social media sites, and to take a tour of this exciting place, rich in Norwegian war history, Viking history and to experience vast paranormal activity. In our next issue of International Paranormal Inquisitor, we will be publishing one out of two articles about Torås fortess, where we want to share with the rest of the world, this exciting fortification, with panoramic views over the inlet to the Oslofjord.
