After being exposed to stone skipping from Japan champions Yohei and Yoko, there's no avoiding attempting it ourselves with a stream and some rocks right by our campsite. None of us know what we're doing, but we wanted to see how it goes. And it was fun! More misses than hits, but when it hits in that rare instance, it's pretty satisfying.
