Ride with us on this summer drive in #EastTexas leaving Troup, Texas on Highway 110 North and driving to Whitehouse, Texas. This is a two-lane road and the area has had late summer rains so everything is green although there is evidence of the storms passing through with the damaged trees. We will pass over a few small bridges around the area of Mud Creek and as we drive closer to Whitehouse we will see more houses, businesses, churches, a volunteer fire station, and a few subdivisions. We will stop at the Blackhawk Creek Grill for an excellent burger about midway through our drive. We will end our drive in Whitehouse, Texas, with a population of about 8300 residents in this Smith County town.
