What a perfect table for Halloween by VPW! Nothing is left to chance. You have to work for each and every point. As soon as you lose focus and concentration, the ball is gone! I just love it. This is the kind of table where you can slowly but surely improve as you try different approached and strategies. It took me about two weeks of playing before I started to feel more in control. The VPW team did a brilliant job to bring this to life; certainly with the looks and sounds, but man, the physics is so good! The physics allows you to use your flipper skills to try and control the ball... which you must. In this game I finish all three floors at least one time, and also once managed to have all three completed at the same time... I expected something to happen. If it did, I missed it ;-) https://vpuniverse.com/files/file/165... Basic stragegy followed in this game I haven't looked at the rules yet, so there might be some tricks that I'm missing. Focus on the cellar and upstair playfields and leave the main playfield targets for much later. If the ball is on the right flippers, especially the far-right one, shoot for the subways to the cellar. I prefer the top-left one as it is safer to control if you miss it compared to the secret passage in the centre. Once the ball is released from the cellar, you can most of the time safely bounce it over and catch it on the far-right flipper. You'll know where to shoot then ;-) If the ball is on the bottom left flipper, shoot for the ramp to the upper playfield or for the trapdoor if lit. If you miss, the ball is generally safe to control, whilst if you miss from the top left flipper, the ball quite often rolls straight down the middle. From the top left flipper I aim for the trapdoor lane as it is a safer option. Once extra ball is lit... block it out of your mind. In other words, continue with your normal play and don't try to get the ball to the left flippers. The risk is too high. Only focus on getting it once the ball is on the bottom left flipper and under control. Go for it then, but don't obsess about it because you can so easily lose the ball. Avoid the 5 lane until you have to shoot it as the eject from there is often deadly. If you want to go for the main playfield targets, either do it early in the i.e. if you fail, restart, or dedicate a ball to it e.g. with an extra ball in hand.
