U.S. aircrews deployed with the 340th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron (EARS) operate a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker to refuel U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptors above the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, March 9, and March 14, 2022. The F-22 Raptors were rapidly deployed on order form the U.S. Secretary of Defense in coordination with the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and have joined a range of joint, coalition, and allied and partner combat airpower capabilities already based across the region. The 340th EARS, deployed with Ninth Air Force (Air Forces Central), is responsible for delivering fuel to U.S. and partner nation forces. (U.S. Air Force video by Staff Sgt.
