I walked through SOOKSIAM inside ICONSIAM in Bangkok, exploring one of the city’s most unique indoor markets. In this video, I stroll past traditional Thai shops, street food stalls, and cultural displays that recreate the feeling of old Thai villages. It’s a relaxed walking tour where you can see the atmosphere, details, and energy of SOOKSIAM up close. SOOKSIAM is located on the ground floor of ICONSIAM, one of Bangkok’s largest and most famous shopping malls, along the Chao Phraya River. ICONSIAM is easy to reach by BTS Skytrain via Krung Thon Buri Station, followed by a short shuttle boat ride across the river, or by taxi and rideshare from central Bangkok.
