This little spicy, sour and salty salad is addictive. The salad dressing can be easily put together. Just make sure to make dry seasoning and the liquid dressing separate and toss them in order. This refreshing salad will make hearty and healthy side dish! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ingredients 250 grams, 8 to 9 ounces lettuce 1/2 small onion, or 1/2 small red onion 2 stalks scallion Dry seasoning 1.5 tablespoons Korean chili flakes, gochugaru 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds 1/3 teaspoon salt Dressing 3 tablespoons soy sauce 2 tablespoons water 2 tablespoons rice vinegar 1/2 tablespoon honey 1 tablespoon sesame oil Instructions 1. Wash the vegetables. Drain and dry. Cut the onion in half and then thinly slice. Soak sliced onion in cold water for about 5 minutes. 2. Chop the scallions. 3. Half crush the toasted sesame seeds. In a small bowl combine crushed sesame seeds, salt, Korean chili flakes and mix. In a separate bowl, add soy sauce, water, rice vinegar, honey and mix. 4. Drain the onions. Squeeze out the excess water. In a big bowl, tear the leaves into bite size pieces. Combine them with onion and scallions. Add dry seasoning first, and toss. Then add the salad dressing, sesame oil to the salad and toss. 5. Serve it in a salad bowl.
