Hello 👋🏻 Welcome to another train video! In this video we take a look at an electric multiple unit that played a huge part in my childhood, the 4CEP and the 4BEP which were also known as the Class 410/411 and 412. These were a key part of the rail scene in the south east of England from the 1950's all the way through to the early 2000's - an amazingly long lifetime. In fact they had a 49 year long service life which made them the longest surviving EMUs that were based on the BR MK1 coach body shell. Sadly the slam door electric trains would fall out of favour and they would start to be replaced from the 1990's onwards. This video is their story and a tribute to their service. I hope you enjoy this brief look at this old workhorse. If you do, please like, hype and share it. Also please consider subscribing to my channel so you don't miss my future releases in this and other bus related videos. Don't forget to comment with your memories and thoughts on these old electric trains too. If you're enjoying the content on the channel, you can always buy me a Jaffa Cake (!) via the super thanks button. Thanks for watching.
