It doesn't harm the quality, but lowers the size of the normal map. 2. Leave Margin to 16 px, otherwise, you won't have enough pixels for padding. No need to set interpolation to Closest. In this part we bake our normal map, avoid and solve some potential issues like ugly seams or glitches. This is the first of the 3-series section devoted to Normal Map. Main points: Set 32-bit for your texture (normal map), as it requires a higher-quality to avoid artifacts. Set it to Non-Color before you bake it.
