JAILED | Six Bulgarian spies have been sentenced with a combined total of 50 years, 3 months and 2 weeks in prison after being convicted for espionage with links to Russia. The group members were arrested in 2023 as part of an investigation led by the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command. Detectives seized hundreds of items from a former hotel in Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, including sophisticated spy equipment and ID cards. Commander Dominic Murphy, Head of the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command, said: “Regardless of the form the threat takes, this investigation shows that we will take action to identify and disrupt any such activity that puts UK national security and the safety of the public at risk.” Read more: https://news.met.police.uk/news/group...
