Mumbai Sakinaka rape case: Police files chargesheet after 18 days

Mumbai: After 18 days of the barbaric Saki Naka rape case in which a 34-year-old woman was brutalised with a rod and later succumbed to her internal injuries, Mumbai Police had filed a chargesheet. It is also being revealed that the crime wasn't pre-planned, however, as per the chargesheet filed by the Mumbai Police, according to the accused and other circumstantial evidences, it was result of anger and revenge. The victim had not fulfilled a promise which she made to the accused. 25 days before the incident took place, the accused tried to approach the victim after seeing her, he directly attacked her. The accused was in Mumbai Police's custody till 21st September, 2021, the sequences had been recorded, the incidents were established and the site of crime was also investigated by the cops.
