In this video you'll learn how to setup your Levana Oma Sense™ Movement Monitor. This includes how to install the included battery and a walkthrough of the buttons and LEDs found on the device. HOW TO USE OMA SENSE™ Turn on Oma Sense™ by pressing the power ON button, located on the left of the device. When the device is turned on it will go through a self-test to ensure all features are working. This will activate all indicator lights, vibrations, and sounds in a random sequence. The self-test lasts for a few seconds. When the green lights flash at the end of the self-test, Oma Sense is ready to go. The BLUE LED will flash continuously for approx. 30 seconds and will then flash every 30 seconds to indicate that Oma Sense™ is monitoring baby’s movement Turn off Oma Sense™ by pressing the Power OFF button, located on the right of the device. The device will check the battery status when powering off. A GREEN flash indicates the battery is good. A RED flash to indicates the battery needs to be changed before next use. We’ve included an additional battery with your unit. When Oma Sense™ turns off, monitoring will stop LED ICONS On the face of the monitor, you will find three LED icons. Battery Indicator Reassurance indicator: Flashes Blue (every 30 seconds) to let you know the device is turned on and monitoring. Alert Indicator: Flashes RED when no motion is detected. DO NOT use a crib mobile and other crib accessories that may produce movements or vibrations. 8. IMMEDIATELY check on the baby whenever the alarm sounds. 9. It is strongly recommended to perform a self-test prior to each use of the unit. For self-test steps please refer to page xx of the Quick Start Guide. 10. Adult assembly required. Keep small parts away from children when assembling. 11. This product contains a Button Cell Battery and if swallowed can cause internal chemical burns in as little as two hours and lead to death. Dispose of used batteries immediately. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If you think the battery might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek medical attention. 12. The Button Cell Battery represents a small part and a choking hazard – KEEP away from children! INTENDED USE This device aids in monitoring the movement of a baby and is not a substitute for parental care.
