Here I am again with a new piano performance! This time, I am sharing an interpretation in which I truly tried to reach the technical peak of my virtuoso abilities. Listen to this piano music and subscribe to the channel so you don't miss any new performances. This is the third video dedicated to my debut collection of piano transcriptions. In this video, I perform Rimsky-Korsakov's famous “Flight of the Bumblebee.” However, I have transformed this motif into my own piece. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my professor Rustam Shaykhutdinov for the idea and global implementation of this project. Without him, none of this would have been possible! The most popular transcriptions of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's Flight of the Bumblebee, performed by Sergei Rachmaninoff and David Ziff, are rightly considered outstanding examples of the genre. Obviously, it is very difficult to say something new, something of your own... Nevertheless, in our opinion, the pianist has succeeded in doing so: the transcription is based on the idea of basso ostinato, imitating the sound of a double bass in a big band, and the harmonies and form of the composition have been interestingly reinterpreted (by adding a middle section).
