Honda is marking a significant milestone with the release of the 2025 Gold Wing and Gold Wing Tour, celebrating 50 years of this legendary model. To honor the occasion, Honda is offering the latest Gold Wing in three special 50th Anniversary color schemes along with a standard non-anniversary option. While the core design remains familiar, the new model comes with a few notable changes. One key update is the removal of the built-in navigation system. Instead, riders will rely on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for mapping and route guidance. Under the bodywork, the 1,833 cubic centimeter horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine has been modified to comply with Euro 5+ emissions standards. This includes an oxygen sensor and refinements to the engine control unit settings. The lineup remains consistent with previous years, with the Gold Wing bagger available in two configurations: a six-speed manual transmission with reverse or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that features both forward and reverse walking mode. The long-distance touring version, the Gold Wing Tour, comes in three choices: a manual transmission version, a dual-clutch transmission model, and a dual-clutch transmission version equipped with an airbag. Honda provides four ride modes across all versions: Tour, Sport, Economy, and Rain. These modes adjust throttle response, traction control, and the combined anti-lock braking system to match different riding conditions. Standard features include cruise control and hill start assist, enhancing comfort and convenience. The seven-inch thin film transistor display serves as the hub for electronic settings and infotainment functions. Other amenities include heated grips and a tire pressure monitoring system. Gold Wing Tour models come standard with a heated seat for extra comfort, while a Home Link System remote garage door control is available as an option. The frame remains unchanged from its 2018 redesign, featuring a twin-spar chassis and a single-sided swingarm with shaft drive. The suspension consists of a double-wishbone front system with a Showa shock that provides 4.3 inches of travel, while the rear features a Showa shock with a Pro-Link system and 4.1 inches of travel. The Gold Wing Tour models benefit from electronic damping adjustment and rear preload settings, whereas the bagger version offers manual rear preload adjustment. Braking performance comes from dual six-piston radially mounted Nissin calipers gripping 320 millimeter rotors in the front, paired with a single 316 millimeter rotor and three-piston caliper at the rear. The combined anti-lock braking system ensures optimal braking force distribution between both wheels. Storage remains the same as before, with each saddlebag providing 30 liters of capacity and the Tour models adding an extra 61 liters through the top trunk. The 2025 Gold Wing and Gold Wing Tour will be available in dealerships starting in March. Pricing begins at $25,200 for the bagger model and $28,700 for the Tour version. #hondagoldwing #goldwing50thanniversary #2025goldwing Get More Great Car Videos - Subscribe: https://goo.gl/BSIaFc
