That's helpful, as I'm currently entrenched with Lyrion Music Server (former Logitech). I'm using Raspberry Pi4s running piCorePlayer (Squeezebox simulation), which plays PCM up to 768 kHz, and native DSD up to DSD512. The DDC then ices the cake. 😉 All is stored as FLAC files, fed via wired Ethernet from a dedicated server on my network. I have iFi LAN Silencers on the Pi4s that I was using for testing, mostly because I have them kicking around. I did an earlier video where I compared various network options, and I didn't actually notice any benefit when I tested the iFi units. (   • Cheap Network Tweaks for Your Stereo - iFi...  ) In this case, the amplifier is the Orchard Audio Starkrimson Ultra dual mono, with a custom linear supply that I created. The speakers are custom 2-way Ergo IX, which are sealed boxes used in nearfield. That pairing is VERY revealing! I prefer not to use headphones for my listening, although I occasionally use the Sennheiser 6XX, HIfiMan HE350, and Letshuoer S12 Pro IEMs. I had a DC Blocker on the Orchard amp during these tests, as its massive 1000VA toroidal transformer buzzes when DC offset appears on the mains.
