The vocals are performed by Scarlett Quinn and Pendulum band member Peredur Ap Gwynedd features on guitar. Skreamin Colours is a new collective conceived by Kouncilhouse and Knightfreak but for this single have joined forces with Ashley Slater; the three are no strangers to each other as they already worked together on the 2012 single "Lucky 7". Kouncilhouse, a.k.a. Simon Tagg, started back in 2008 when he began his first record label with the drum 'n' bass legend Mickey Finn. He has collaborated with many big names such as Faithless, Stanton Warriors, Leeroy Thornhill (Prodigy), Future Sound of London, Atomic Hooligan, Dub Pistols, Calverton, Pendulum and Freestylers. Knightfreak formerly produced under the name of Circuit Breaker, best known for his dubstep chart topper remix of "I Dont Care" by Kouncilhouse and Freestylers MC Sirreal. Since then he has worked on various projects under the new name Knightfreak, working on genres from breakbeat to drumstep. He also remixed Kouncilhouse's track "Hurricane" (again with Scarlet Quinn) and reworked The Dub Pistols track "Back to Daylight". Knightfreak currently works on his debut solo release on Rub a Duck. The legendary Ashley Slater started his career in the eighties and was in the band Freak Power with Norman Cook a.k.a. Fatboy Slim, still best known for the world hit "Turn On, Tune In, Cop Out". Ashley Slater also worked with Dub Pistols, Dimitri From Paris and Rui Da Silva and appeared with Elvis Costello and Debbie Harry at the London Jazz Festival, which he has presented for BBC Four Television. Scarlett Quinn, hailing from Brighton in the U.K., scored a massive underground hit last year with her own band "Kitten and The Hip". Their first release was on HedKandi in 2011 and Scarlett also features on the new Netsky album as both a writer and a singer. She appears on the tracks "Come Alive" and "No Beginning" and recently did a collaboration with the U.S. based Manufactured Superstars on the track "Take Me Over". With Pendulum band member Peredur Ap Gwynedd on guitar, it is safe to say that Skreamin Colours really is an all-star collective, bringing forth a truly massive electronic soul track with attractive dubstep influences. The profound arrangement produced by Tagg and Slater works as the perfect vehicle for Scarlett's vocals, making "Nothing" a tailor made cut for the top of the charts. Knightfreak, assigned for the remix, gave the original a darker, slightly serrated dubstep edge, giving every DJ a perfect version for the late night underground sets.
