Heeeeeelloooooooo Here I am with my brand new cosplay, Bonnie The Bunny from Five Nights at Freddy's 1 There's a lot I can say about him: To start off, you might have noticed that I haven't used a single piece of upholstery foam on the body. That's because I tried a new method! Thanks to my sewing machine, I came up with an idea to make a FNaF cosplay but as if it was a "plush". I considered the pros and cons compared to the upholstery foam method and it seemed better for me, so I tried it out. As I feel I'm one of the first people to ever come out with this method specifically, I call it the "plush armor" method. The "common" method I call it the "upholstery armor" method I can say that he was interesting to work with. And I can also say that if I didn't have a sewing machine he would have taken WAY longer.. There was a point where my sewing machine wouldn't sew the shoulder pads and I feared for my life I'm telling you. Some fun facts: I scrapped a moving jaw and made a skull to represent the dead kid inside because the fact that the jaw was not moving symmetrically was stressing me a lot. I decided to give up and go with a removable face, which, I decided to add when the head base was pretty much read for patterning.. I realized I had just made my project a whole lot harder. But it was worth it His right lower leg is just metal, as you can see. Why? I ran out of stuffing and I was finishing him on a rush for a con so I couldn't buy more. I decided to give him a withered leg to make up for it. I guess it's a nice detail Bonnie's guitar is the very first large scale prop that I'm actually pretty proud of. I feel I did a pretty good job and I love how it came out His ears are actually plush-like too! I wanted to try and make them like this so they wouldn't be too heavy. I realized that yes, they aren't heavy, but they tend to go sideways and bend more often. Which depending on who you're making it might be a good thing! I might add a wire to the left ear to make it stand up more, but I'm not sure The chest doesn't have a zipper like my usual chest pieces because I loved the back shape a lot and didn't want to "break" it The dead kid skull has been the first thing I've ever made out of eva foam.
