This video demonstrates how D4E SQL can provide discovery, monitoring and remediation of Excel files for governance. Traditional spreadsheet governance tools monitor files at rest. D4E monitors both spreadsheets at rest and operational execution in action. Using command AUDIT [foldername] and D4E Scheduler (server), all Excel files can be scanned estate-wide in the enterprise. D4E also provides both structural governance monitoring and runtime operational monitoring for Excel-based processes. D4E captures execution telemetry for governed Data Actions within Excel. Using command READPARSEAUDIT, D4E can create risk registers and reports.
