I am rebuilding the 72 TR6. I do videos on those things that were not in the manual. As with everything it seems that there are caveats and pitfalls to different approaches to rebuilding different parts. I found this to be true as I started researching rocker assembly rebuilding. This is how I ended up evaluating the wear on the various components, and how I decided what to do about the worn parts. I go over how I measured each part, what the options are I found to address the wear from rebuilding to replacing, and maybe some things to just leave as is. Here are some links I refer to in this video. • Triumph TR Series Rocker Arm Rebuilding http://bullfire.net/TR6/TR6-18/TR6-18... http://www.britishframeandengine.com/... http://rockerarms.com/pages/rebuild.html https://mossmotors.com/rockers-arms-r... https://forums.6-pack.org/the-6-pack-... https://www.tr-register.co.uk/forums/... I also refer to the Gunson Clikadjust. You can search on that.
