You’ll learn how changing the length of your notes affects the groove, but you’ll also learn how to know when to use short notes vs. long ones. Of course, for every ‘rule’ in music, there are tons of exceptions - almost to the point that you can’t even call it a ‘rule’ anymore, so let’s call the trick in this video a guideline instead.
