🔹 Nandgaon Parikrama Yatra | Shri Krishna's Second Home | Complete Travel Guide 🔹 Radhe Radhe! Join me on a spiritual journey through Nandgaon - the sacred home of Lord Krishna after leaving Gokul! In this vlog, I’ll take you on my second yatra to Nandgaon, the divine village where Krishna spent his childhood after the migration from Gokul. This journey includes a complete parikrama of Nandgaon, covering all the most important spiritual and mythological sites associated with Lord Krishna, Yashoda Maiya, Nand Baba, and his childhood friends. 🔹 Starting Point – Nandgaon Market & Climb to Nand Baba Temple After arriving at Nandgaon, I parked my car in the central market parking area and began the ascent to the top of Nandishwar Hill, where Nand Baba Temple is situated. Walking through the narrow alleys of Nandgaon and climbing the stairs, I reached this peaceful temple complex. 🛕 Here, I had darshan of Nand Baba, Yashoda Maiya, Little Krishna, Balram Ji, and their friends Tansukha and Mansukha. Before the darshan, a kind priest shared fascinating stories related to Krishna's early life. 📍 Just nearby is the Nandishwar Mahadev Temple, a serene Shiv temple inside the same complex. 🔹 Parikrama Begins – Nand Baba Ki Baithhak & Nand Kund After descending and returning to the car, I began the Nandgaon Parikrama by visiting Nand Baba Ki Baithhak, a sacred spot reachable by taking a right turn after the Uddhav Kyari signboard. 🎨 Inside, there's a beautiful old painting showing Nand Baba with Krishna and Balram sitting on his lap. A Mahatma residing here narrated the importance of this place and then showed me the nearby Nand Kund, where Nand Baba used to bathe. 🔹 Tapasthali Siddh Gufa & Yashoda Kund The next stop was Siddh Gufa, a quiet cave shrine where sadhus have performed penance for centuries. Today, it has a renovated structure with a room containing a statue of Bal Krishna Das Maharaj, a small Shiv Temple, and bhajan-singing sadhus. 🌸 Just a few steps ahead lies the Yashoda Kund. I first visited the Yashoda Temple here and then walked to the other side of the kund to see Hau-Bilau, the spot where Krishna used to play. Near the kund is also a Gaushala – a must-visit for cow lovers. 🔹 Charan Pahadi – Krishna’s Footprints Next, I visited the divine Charan Pahadi, where you can see Lord Krishna’s tiny footprints embedded in rock. According to belief, the rocks melted under the divine sound of Krishna’s flute, imprinting his feet forever. It’s a powerful, goosebump-worthy moment. 🔹 Vrinda Kund – Temple of Tulsi Devi From Charan Pahadi, I went to Vrinda Kund, a calm and peaceful place where Tulsi Devi (Vrinda Devi) is worshipped. There's a temple dedicated to her and two serene ponds nearby. Devotees often come here for peaceful bhajan and meditation. 🔹 Paawan Sarovar – Holy Bathing Spot of Krishna & Friends My next stop was the beautiful Paawan Sarovar, a sacred pond named after Paawan Gop, the father of Vishakha Sakhi (Radha Ji’s close friend). Lord Krishna and his friends used to bathe and play here. Nearby is the Paawan Bihari Temple where darshan was divine and refreshing. 🔹 Moti Kund – Krishna’s Pearl Farm Then I reached Moti Kund, the magical place where Lord Krishna grew pearls for Radha Rani. The story is as heartwarming as the serene setting of the pond. Close to this is the Mukta Bihari Temple, where I offered prayers. 🔹 Ter Kadamb – Kadamb Tree Tales & Krishna’s Call One of the most charming stops of the parikrama was Ter Kadamb. This forested area with ancient Kadamb trees is where Krishna used to meet Radha Rani and call cows by playing his flute from atop a Kadamb tree. The ambiance here is filled with love and divine energy. Truly a highlight! 🔹 Asheshwar Mahadev Temple – Divine Shivling Darshan Just a few minutes from Ter Kadamb is the Asheshwar Mahadev Temple, where I offered water to a beautiful metallic Shivling. It is one of the lesser-known but deeply spiritual places on the route. 🔹 Uddhav Kyari – The Gopis’ Eternal Wisdom My final stop was Uddhav Kyari, the spot where Uddhav Ji conversed with the Gopis after Krishna left Nandgaon. Their spiritual wisdom and devotion left Uddhav overwhelmed. The peaceful environment here makes you reflect deeply on divine love and bhakti. 🙏🏼 This is how my Nandgaon Parikrama Yatra was completed. I hope you’ll enjoy this detailed journey through one of the most sacred villages of Braj through my vlog.
