A walkthrough of the Colebrookdale RR Station & their Polar Express. The station has recent updates to its area (construction is still occurring further down from passenger boarding - basically where I am to film the engine LOL) The train was sold out on this beautiful afternoon - filmed 12/9/23, noon -2 p.m. https://www.colebrookdalerailroad.com/ The Colebrookdale Railroad corridor cuts through the heart of the Schuylkill Valley’s earliest iron industries and the sites of the first iron works in Pennsylvania, the first blast furnace and the first refinery forge. The majority of these works belonged to or were controlled by the Potts family of Pottstown. Stay tuned - 2 steam engines were bought for this line - hopefully finances help make this a reality.
