On 13th September 2020, Elixir had their first full band rehearsal with new bass player Mark Mulcaster and we thought that it would be good to capture some footage for prosperity. Although there are a few little mistakes here and there, we thought that, in the absence of any upcoming live shows due to the current virus restrictions, some of you might like to get a glimpse of the new line-up in action. What you are seeing and hearing is the band playing live, warts and all. We tried to get a little atmosphere going to get close to a small gig performance, though nothing can re-create the real atmosphere of a hot sweaty gig, where we can see the whites of your eyes in front of us!! So over the coming weeks, we will upload some songs, old and new, every fortnight on our official YouTube channel. First up is one of our earliest songs, 'Deal With The Devil'. We had just written this when Paul came to audition for us in 1984. When he sang it, with feeling and emotion, we knew right away that he was the singer we were looking for!
