I'm a reformed Protestant Postmillenialist Presbyterian "general-equity" theonomist. In a nutshell that means God is Sovereign - like completely, His law is good and eternal, Jesus is God, the Trinity is, well, the Trinity, and all God's promises are true. He wins the long-game on this side of heaven - not in the next life, although He is certainly winning there too. I also believe the Bible teaches conditional immortality very clearly, so no, I don't believe in eternal conscious torment for the wicked - this is a lie the majority of the church has believed for far too long. Ask yourself, why when we speak of destruction or perishing do we suddenly change it's definition when we speak of hell? I'm also about 1,010 percent sure (that's not a typo) my beliefs about God, man and the world are 1,010 percent correct. The Bible, when understood well, explains the world we live in to a T. People just don't want to like what it says. Much of my life went into making sure of that. Because I love people I tell them these things. It's up to them if they want to soften their hearts and do an honest and thorough search or not. I'm also very very open to changing my mind - if someone comes with stronger arguments using Scripture and reason. I have done this several times. I like to think like an investigative journalist, an honest one, and stay aware of my own biases and cognitive dissonance. I think teachability & the willingness & ability to change our own mind is one of the greatest gifts we can give to children. If we want to accept the world we actually live in, & be okay with it, without continuing to try to invent another. This one thing would change the world! I’m a strong advocate for capitalism, because I believe in God, & I understand enough about how the real world works. In this world, a thriving society functions by having efficient means of exchanging value for value. Historically, the best way to account for such exchanges in value has been money, or various forms of "currency" (money & currency are two different things). A good medium of exchange will maintain relatively stable purchasing power over wide regions and for long periods of time, as in centuries. One of the key questions as to whether a currency works well is RELIABILITY, whether it's backed by precious metals, a commodity, land, cryptocurrency or just a promise to pay it back. This means you can trust it. It means many people trust it. Can it be inflated or manipulated on the market? Can a government tamper with it? If so, it’s reliability score is low. The more reliable it is, the more tamper-proof it is, and the better medium-of-exchange it is.
