Just click at the same time the mode and power button of the GoPro Hero 8 and that's it! Trick 2: Restart Using the same 2 buttons on your GoPro Hero 8 again, but holding them simultaneously pressed for around 5 seconds makes your GoPro Hero 8 restart. This tip works also for older GoPros, like the GoPro Hero 7. Trick 3: Lens The GoPro Hero 8 has an irreplaceable lens, so a lot of you guys were concerned, if you should buy the GoPro Hero 8 or not. I always said yes, because with a quick tip you can protect your lens, so you don't have to worry about breaking the lens. Trick 4: SuperView That's my favorite tip of this video. Using the field of view "SuperView" on your GoPro Hero 8 can get you incredible GoPro footage and if you are at places without a lot of straight lines you don't even have a too extreme fish eye effect as you can see in this video. Trick 5: 4:3 If you are specifically taking GoPro Hero 8 videos for Instagram, then this setting could be the right one for you. If you use the 4:3 aspect ratio on your GoPro Hero 8, your vertical videos will look better. Trick 6: Recoverit Recoverit is a tool, which can recover your lost GoPro Hero 8 files. I show you in the video step by step how to do that, it's really simple. Trick 9: Spot Meter Spot Meter is another unknown feature of the GoPro Hero 8. It's this little white square which appears, if you hold your finger pressed against the screen of the GoPro Hero 8. With this white square you can lock the exposure on your GoPro. Trick 10: Flat Platform If you have seen my other videos you know that I am a fan of this little black plastic thing, which comes included with your GoPro Hero 8.
