Baldur's Gate 3 Unboxing - The Most EXPENSIVE Game I Ever Bought

I've bought a number of games quite cheaply over the years. Sometimes, I could pay $1 digitally. Other times, I may pay $3 for a physical copy of a game, and sometimes, I just fork over a mere $5 for a number of different games. Buying things on the cheap is something I've done quite well over the years. So, the question you might have is this: what about the other end of the spectrum? What is the most expensive game I bought? Since I've been spending the last while buying up newer games, I've been seeing some pretty eye watering prices. Games that go for $60, $70, $80, $90, and even $100 before taxes is something I've seen (and bought!) over the last while. No, I'm not exactly thrilled about this, but this is something you have to do if you are going to showcase brand new games. Of course, what ultimately beat out all of those games by quite a bit, so far, wound up being Baldur's Gate 3. Yes, as the thumbnail suggests, the game cost me $164.11. Before you say it was scalpers raising the cost and that I should buy this officially, I actually bought this officially off of the official website here: https://us.merch.larian.com/en/produc... I forgot to mention in the video how this game came to cost this much for me. First of all, there is the shipping cost. Then, you tack on the exchange rate from American to Canadian dollars. After that, you get to throw on taxes on top of it all. Then, there is the fee to go through PayPal (I was paying with a credit card, but for some reason, the processing got offloaded onto PayPal which, no doubt, raised the costs more). So, that is how I arrived at this cost. To clarify what I said in the video, when I said towards the end that I was more conflicted on whether or not it was worth the cost, what I meant was that I was having some subtle regret of buying something like this for so much, but after seeing the contents of what I bought, there was a much more excellent case to be made that it was worth the money. So, that comment actually favours the move to purchase this. Anyway, I wanted to hear from you. What are your thoughts on this? Is the price as eye-watering to you as it is for me?
