Join us as we continue the talk on hope. Scripture reminds us that hope deferred makes the heart sick - Proverbs 13:12. In other words, if we are experiencing hopelessness, we can almost guarantee our hearts might not be in the best shape. Truth is, there are many reasons we might find ourselves hopeless; hurt, delay, rejection, fear or etc. Regardless of the why, hopelessness is not our portion as believers. While the first part of Proverbs 13:12 speaks of hope deferred, the second part speaks of hope fulfilled - “but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life”. Maybe it is time to realign our hope with a hope that does not fail us?
