High on summer cliffs of Ireland’s east coast, Aurks fill narrow ledges above the sea. Fourth thousands of Guillemots and several thousand Razorbill come here for a few weeks each year. Chicks peering over the edge, adults returning from the Irish Sea with beaks full of shimmering fish. Wings brush. Neighbours squabble. The colony murmurs and roars, the smell of the white guano mixing with the salt spray and sound lead to a truly awe inspiring encounter with Nature. This immersive ASMR short film attempts to capture some of that raw Nature, an intimate soundscape of the cacophony of a seabird city at its peak. No music. No narration.
