Commemorative Talk on Swami Vivekananda by Mrs.Karuna Munshi, Director, Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini

Swami Vivekananda always said, “So long as the millions live in hunger and ignorance, I hold every man/person a traitor who, having been educated at their expense pays not the least heed to them.” His message of universal brotherhood & self-awakening is very relevant at the present times. As a young monk, his teachings and ideals has been an inspiration to many, especially the youth of the country. For this very reason, his birthday, January 12, is celebrated as the National Youth Day in India. To commemorate the 158 th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the great Indian Youth Icon, an online talk by Mrs.Karuna Munshi, Director, Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini, was arranged by the Dept. of philosophy, on 21 st January, 2021, as a part of National Youth Day celebrations.
