Riding the City Island Railroad was the highlight of my first visit to City Island in Harrisburg, PA. I rode in a diesel-powered trolley pulling one passenger car, and it was a unique and fun experience. Afterwards I railfanned it during lunch break. City Island Railroad is a 2-foot narrow gauge railway that circles the island. Although this ride was non-stop, they also drop off and pick up passengers as needed near Concrete Beach on the northern end of the island.
