This time from Journal of the Société des Gentilshommes de Cuisine published in 1947. It seems this was kind of “men who like to cook” club back in the day. While this is the only sandwich recipe in it, there’s also ones for curry, corned beef and cabbage, and various cuts of meat cooked on a barbecue. This recipe was send in to the journal by Aurthur Lake who played Dagwood on the Blondie tv show back in the day.
