In today’s video, the weather outside is gray and windy, so we are heading into the greenhouse to get some essential winter jobs done! Even though it's cold, there is plenty of life in the greenhouse. I'll be showing you how my winter lettuces, mizuna, and radishes are doing, and we’ll even harvest a fresh salad for dinner. The main task for today is transplanting my germinated garlic. I’ve had nearly 100% success with these, and they are desperately in need of more root space. I’ll walk you through my process of using garden soil to move them into 5-6 cm pots to keep them happy until they are ready for the allium bed in spring. I’m also doing a bit of weeding and prepping the greenhouse for my upcoming two-week holiday. Stick around to see how I "bottom-pick" my lettuces to ensure they keep growing for weeks to come!
